Have you heard of Bookperk before? I just saw it today from an email that was sent to me from Hiplit (HarperTeen).
Bookperk is a site for all of us book lovers. For the first time, readers get access to exclusive merchandise and experiences from their favorite authors and books.
I created an account to see what other deals might come up.
Today’s deal is a hardcover copy of the movie tie-in edition of I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore and one free movie ticket for $17.99 (includes free USPS shipping). There’s also a Justin Bieber book and two movie tickets as well as Black Heels to Tractor Wheels: Signed First Edition Ree Drummond’s The Pioneer Woman!
While the combo of both at $17.99 is a good deal I’m not sure if I want to buy it. 🙁 I really want to see the movie because it looks pretty awesome and I know there’s been quite a bit of controversy over the author issue.
What do you think? A good deal? Will I finish the book in time to use the free ticket to see the movie in the theater? (probably, and who cares, I can use it to see a different movie)
