Q: This Sunday in the U.S. is Mother’s Day, in celebration, what are some of your favorite books with strong mother/child relationships?
Hmm, I read a lot of YA fantasy where usually the parents are not major characters. I’m going to say that The Kneebone Boy by Ellen Potter had one of the strongest mother / child relationships I’ve ever read, even though she wasn’t even in the book until the very end! It’s a Middle Grade book, which I don’t find myself reading much of but this book was phenomenal. Check out my review.
That sounds like a great book! I’m following on Twitter and liked your Facebook page 🙂 Happy Friday!
I haven’t read that book before. I hope you’ll drop by and see what book I picked 🙂

I didn’t know this one but I really like the cover, it sounds like a nice choice!
here is mine
I’m trying to read more middle grade, so I’ll have to check out The Kneebone Boy. The cover looks kind of creepy (I love creepy). I meant to have my giveaway run through the end of today, but it ended last night by accident. It was my first time using rafflecopter, so next time I’ll get it right. Plus, I love rafflecopter now. It makes giveaways so easy!
I LOVE Rafflecopter too! It makes giveaways so easy!
That cover looks amazing. I’m not familiar with this book, but I’ll definitely check it out now.

Recently I’ve realized that I love Middle Grade books. I thought “Well I just like this and this and this” MG book but the list kept growing. I’ll have to check this one out.
