Prom Fever Giveaway!

It’s that time of the year! Prom!

Prom is usually a big deal to most high school students. Mostly the girls are the ones to have the most fun preparing for the big day.

I remember my junior prom and my now husband’s senior prom. It was such a boring night!! I’m sure it was just us. We’re not big on dancing nor did we have very many friends that we could hang out with. We did dance once (I think). I remember my feet were killing me by the time we left. Damn those heels! We didn’t do an after party either. We may have found a  quite back road for a few minutes of quality time. 😉

Here’s our prom picture. We’ll be celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary this June 29th.

  1. Senior prom – went with a guy that I had a crush on, from a different school, a grade (and two years) younger. He ended being my first boyfriend, my first kiss, and my first heartbreak – found out after he dumped me that he was kissing another girl – a good friend – the whole time, and I was only his second choice for prom – he had asked my “friend” first.

      1. Eh, he was a loser (obviously). And it was 11 years ago. I have since married a MUCH better man (which goes without saying) and have a fabulous 7-month-old little boy, that I WILL raise to be a better person than my prom date was. 🙂

  2. Love the picture and congrats on the upcoming anniversary! I did not go to prom, kind of not my thing either.
