There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.
Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. My Grade: 3/5

There was lots and lots of hype for this book that it made me think it was going to be super awesome. I’m afraid it lacked in the awesome department.

The beginning of this book was terrible and I mean it was just all over the place lacking in real substance. But I was determined to give this book my full attention.

The ending was awesome and should really have been used as the beginning and worked from from that point on.

The main characters were likeable. The overall plot was okay. I think I’d like to read more but I’d hope that the author would step it up a bit. :)]
