This is book number 6 of Kelley’s Women of the Otherworld series. I skipped from book 2 to book 6. Why? Cause book 3 was just blah. The witches did not interest me AT ALL! I’m glad Leigh Ann suggested reading this one though. It was good.
Of course it centered around Elena, her lover boy Clay, and the Alpha Jeremy. This is one strange story that they’ve walked into. Somehow they obtained a letter that was cursed, or something, with a portal to the past. They believe they just unleashed Jack the Ripper to the present. People start disappearing and dead people start walking and attacking Elena.
OH! And Elena’s pregnant! She’s running around with the equivalent of being 8 months pregnant and kicking ass with out so much of having to stop to go pee! The story line in this book is complex and amazing.
However, with that said, this series just really is lacking in spice for me anymore. It’s more on the mystery side of the genre than romantic or paranormal.
