I really, really, really loved this book! Kaderin, a Valkyrie vampire slayer, goes to slay Sebastian but ends up feeling emotion, which she hasn’t felt for over 1,000 years, since the death of her 2 triplet sisters. She leaves Sebastian to live so she can prepare for her embark on the Hie, an immortal version of The Amazing Race. Sebastian traces (teleports) to Kaderin’s location, fights Bowen a werewolf, enters the Hie, and ultimately wins Kaderin’s heart.
The story is loaded, I mean loaded with intense scenes of fighting and overall adventure. And the love scenes are amazing.
One of the best paranormal romances I’ve read. And I started the next book in the series last evening. I’ve only read a few pages but it seems to be about Bowen, the werewolf and a witch.
